Women's Center of Athens (WCA) is a group practice providing care to women of all ages in both obstetrics and gynecology. The physicians practicing obstetrics and gynecology are Melissa Anderson, M.D., Melissa Halbach, M.D., and Camille McPherson, M.D. All of our physicians are board certified by The American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. In addition, all physicians are Fellows of the American Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology (F.A.C.O.G.). Our providers maintain full privileges at both St. Mary's Hospital and Athens Regional Medical Center and will provide care at either place of your choosing should you need hospital care.
WCA also employs Natalie Romines, C.N.P. (Certified Nurse Practitioner). Natalie provides care to gynecology patients and is board certified in ultrasound (A.R.D.M.S.). Two nights per week she answers questions after office hours for our patients (beeper call).
All care that you receive after hours at the hospital will be provided by one of our three physicians ( Dr's Anderson, Halbach, or McPherson). The ER physician may also be evaluating you for outpatient gynecology issues or early obstetric issues if you need emergent after hours care.
We trust your obstetric and gynecology care provided by WCA will be a positive experience and we will always listen to your concerns.
