Your Prenatal Care Journey

  • Initial Prenatal Visit

Your first appointment includes a comprehensive review of your medical history, a physical exam, and confirmation of pregnancy through ultrasound or blood tests. We’ll also discuss your health, address any concerns, and outline what to expect during your pregnancy.

  • Routine Follow-Up Visits

Follow-up appointments occur every 4 weeks until the 28th week of pregnancy, every 2 weeks until the 36th week, and weekly thereafter. During these visits, we monitor your weight, blood pressure, and fetal growth, while answering any questions you might have.

  • Screening Tests and Ultrasounds

Throughout your pregnancy, we perform key screening tests, including blood work for anemia, gestational diabetes screening, and genetic testing. We also conduct regular ultrasounds, such as the 20-week anatomy scan, to monitor the baby’s development and check organ health.

Important info

For each appointment, bring your medical history, a list of medications, and any questions you may have.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s recommended to begin prenatal care as soon as you know you’re pregnant. Ideally, your first appointment should be scheduled around the 8th week of pregnancy to ensure early monitoring and guidance.

Follow any instructions provided by your OB-GYN, such as dietary recommendations, taking prescribed vitamins, or scheduling follow-up tests. Stay hydrated, eat a balanced diet, and continue monitoring your symptoms between visits.
